Put your solar installation in
for congestion management
and benefit from additional returns
With congestion management, through the GOPACS platform, we distribute limited space on the power grid. We do this when the demand for transmission of electricity is higher than the power grid can handle. Is this demand too high at a given time? Then your solar installation temporarily uses or delivers less electricity. This gives you extra returns and helps the local grid operator.
Extra return for me and support for the local grid operator. Win-win for all parties.

How does congestion management work ?

Through our congestion management service, we predict and nominate your intended solar power transmission capacity for the upcoming day. We send this data via the GOPACS portal to
the grid operator, through which they then forward any call-off of power curtailment for your
installation.

The grid operator gives us a signal and we take care of notification and action towards your energy company. In this way you help the local grid, avoid imbalance costs and still maintain efficiency with your installation.

There are two forms of congestion management that we provide:

- Capacity Limitation Contracts (CBC)
- Bid duty contracts
