How does congestion management work ?
Through our congestion management service we predict and nominate your intended solarpower transmission capacity for the upcoming day. We send this data via the GOPACSportal to the grid operator, which they then use to initiate any power limitation calls for yourinstallation.
The grid operator gives us a signal and we take care of notification and action towards your energy company. In this way you help the local grid, avoid imbalance costs and still maintain efficiency with your installation.
There are two forms of congestion management that we provide:
- Capacity Limitation Contracts (CBC)
- Bid duty contracts
