Business Developer

Covolt is the place where technology and sustainability come together. We manage and maintain sustainable energy installations. Think of the solar farm in your neighborhood or solar panels & batteries at farmers or the charging station for your electric car.

We do that with smart software and Ai. We ensure that our customers' installations generate optimum power through sharp monitoring and maintenance. We also achieve optimum returns for them by actively managing and trading on various energy and balancing markets. In this way we contribute to a better balance on the Dutch power grid and the prevention/resolution of grid congestion. Moreover, you will work from our brand new, energy efficient office in Veghel.

Would you?

  • Making deals with wholesale customers on energy management.
  • Making batteries, solar installations and charging infrastructure work best for customers
  • Selling innovative software for managing and smartly steering assets
  • Using your passion for sales to work with our team to accelerate the energy transition

What will you do?

  • You identify and follow up on new leads
  • You maintain and expand relationships with customers and sales partners
  • You make compelling presentations about our services to clients and partners
  • You track your customer interactions in Hubspot and follow up on incoming requests
  • You will work closely with our operations team to properly onboard customers

‍Do you recognize yourself?

  • 2-4 years of sales experience in business development, demonstrably successful
  • Affinity and knowledge of the energy market and energy transition is a plus
  • A network in the market (installers, energy consultants, utilities, etc.) is a plus
  • You can work both independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals
  • Experience with CRM systems, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages
  • You are results-oriented, proactive and have a strong drive
  • HBO working and thinking level and/or HBO education in economic direction
