Manager flexibility

What will you do?
1. Market Analysis and Strategy
- Monitor and analyze balancing markets, energy prices and regulatory developments.
- Develop strategic plans for flexible power and market operations to increase profitability and manage risk.
- Identify opportunities and threats in markets and respond with innovative solutions.
2. Operations Management
- Coordinate daily flexibility capabilities and decisions, including forecasting, dispatching and optimizing resources/assets.
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure efficient and effective operational processes.
- Identify and implement operational efficiency improvements.
3. Data and Reporting
- Use data analysis to identify trends and patterns in balancing markets.
- Prepare reports and performance analysis, including KPIs and report to management.
- Collaborate with data scientists and IT teams to improve algorithms and tools for optimization.
4. Relationship Management and Collaboration
- Maintain relationships with TSO, DSO, BRPs and other stakeholders.
- Represent Covolt in external meetings and consultation structures regarding flexible capacity.
- Act as liaison between internal teams to share knowledge and promote collaborative opportunities.
5. Risk and Compliance Management
- Manage risks associated with flexible assets and operations, including compliance with laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal compliance standards and industry regulations.
- Think ahead about future changes in regulations and market dynamics to prepare Covolt for them.
Do you recognize yourself?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, engineering or energy management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry, preferably in balancing markets, trading or energy management.
- Strong analytical understanding and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of and experience with energy markets, regulatory and technical aspects of balancing markets.
- Experience with data analysis tools and market analysis software.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to make decisions under pressure.
