Sales/Business Developer Covolt Belgium

 Covolt is an innovative player  in the market where technology and sustainability converge. We manage and maintain sustainable energy installations. These include solar parks, solar panels, and battery systems for farmers or large real estate properties, as well as charging infrastructure for electric (freight) vehicles. 

We do this with smart software and AI. We ensure that our customers' installations perform well. In addition, we achieve optimal returns for them through active management and trading on various energy and balancing markets. In this way, we contribute to a more stable electricity grid and help prevent and resolve grid congestion. 

You will be based at our office in Berchem (Antwerp) and will be active on the Belgian market.

Your role

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for further expanding our commercial activities in Belgium. You will work with large corporate clients and assist them in optimizing the use of their energy assets. You will be there at the start of Covolt Belgium and have the ambition to grow this company together. 

Are you someone who...

  • Use your passion for sales to join our team in accelerating the energy transition 
  • Successful sales of innovative software for managing and intelligently controlling assets 
  • Successfully completes commercial projects with large corporate clients in energy management 
  • Maximizing returns on batteries, PV installations, and charging infrastructure for customers 

Your responsibilities:

  • You identify new leads and follow up on them. 
  • You maintain and expand relationships with customers and sales partners. 
  • You give compelling presentations about our services to customers and partners. 
  • You keep track of customer interactions in Hubspot and follow up on incoming requests. 
  • You will work closely with our operations team to onboard customers effectively. 

Do you recognize yourself:

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience in business development, with a proven track record of success 
  • Affinity with and knowledge of the energy market and the energy transition is a plus 
  • A network in the market (installers, energy consultants, utilities, etc.) is a plus. 
  • You can work independently or as part of a team to achieve sales targets. 
  • Experience with CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English 
  • You are results-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated.
