As a Senior Marketing & Growth Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing activities that directly contribute to Covolt’s visibility, positioning, and commercial growth.
You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mindset and move effortlessly between brand development, content creation, lead generation, performance marketing, and commercial activation. You understand how modern B2B marketing works and use data, technology, and AI to continuously identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
You don’t think in terms of isolated campaigns, but rather in terms of customer journeys, funnels, and conversions. You analyze performance, set up experiments, optimize campaigns, and translate insights into concrete actions that contribute to greater reach, higher engagement, and better commercial results.
In addition, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Covolt’s position as a thought leader in the energy transition. You’ll ensure that our knowledge, expertise, and innovations are visible to the right target audiences and support colleagues in leveraging social selling and personal visibility.
You’ll serve as a key strategic partner for Sales, Management, and external partners and actively contribute to the further professionalization of marketing within a rapidly growing organization.

Covolt is introducing a new solution that enables companies to utilize their energy assets more intelligently in the energy market. The technology is innovative, but still unfamiliar to many customers.
Instead of rolling out a campaign right away, you’ll first seek out the right insights. You’ll speak with Sales, analyze customer inquiries, research market trends, and identify the key target audiences.
You’ll discover that different customer groups each have distinct information needs. While technical decision-makers require in-depth technical content, executives are primarily interested in insights into return on investment, risks, and strategic benefits.
Based on these insights, you’ll develop an integrated marketing and growth strategy. You build a sales funnel, develop thought leadership content, set up targeted campaigns, and leverage various channels to guide prospects through the customer journey.
Throughout the campaign, you continuously monitor performance. You conduct A/B tests, analyze data, optimize conversions, and use AI tools to make processes smarter and more efficient.
This ensures that marketing is not only visible but also directly contributes to brand awareness, lead generation, and commercial growth.

  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Translating business objectives into effective marketing and growth strategies.
  • Setting up, managing, and optimizing marketing funnels focused on lead generation and
  • Continuously improving campaigns, customer journeys, and conversions based on data.
  • Developing scalable marketing processes that contribute to sustainable growth.

 

Performance Marketing & Optimization

  • Analyzing campaign performance, marketing data, and commercial results.
  • Designing and conducting experiments and A/B tests.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement within the customer journey.
  • Working with CRM, marketing, and analytics tools to generate insights.
  • Using AI tools and automation to make marketing smarter, faster, and more scalable.
  • Translating data into concrete recommendations for further growth and optimization.

 

Content, Positioning & Thought Leadership

  • Developing and coordinating high-quality content for various target audiences.
  • Writing blogs, customer case studies, newsletters, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Developing thought leadership content that positions Covolt as a thought leader in the energy transition.
  • Translating technical and complex information into clear, customer-focused communication.
  • Implement content repurposing by strategically reusing content across different channels, target audiences, and formats.
  • Ensuring consistency in brand identity, corporate style, and tone of voice across all communications.

 

SEO & Digital Visibility

  • Develop and optimize SEO strategies to increase Covolt's online visibility.
  • Monitoring search behavior, market trends, and content performance.
  • Optimizing website content and digital customer journeys.
  • Strengthening Covolt's online authority and search visibility.

 

Social Selling & Employer Branding

  • Supporting the Sales team in implementing social selling.
  • Increasing the visibility of experts and colleagues within Covolt.
  • Provide advice on personal branding and professional online presence
  • Creating content that supports commercial conversations and builds trust.

 

Events & Stakeholder Management

  • Organizing and coordinating trade shows, events, and customer meetings.
  • Managing external agencies for content, design, and campaign development.
  • Work closely with Sales, Management, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Aligning campaigns and content with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Monitoring schedules, budgets, and the progress of marketing activities.

 

Customer Insights & Market Research

  • Initiating and overseeing customer surveys.
  • Gathering insights into customer needs and customer satisfaction.
  • Translating research findings into improvements in marketing and communication strategies.
  • Identifying market developments, trends, and innovations within the field.

 

Knowledge Sharing & Development

  • Sharing knowledge and expertise with junior and mid-level colleagues.
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues within the field.
  • Contribute to the continued professionalization of marketing within Covolt.

You take the initiative, think like an entrepreneur, and feel at home in an environment where speed, ownership, and results are key.

In addition, you have:

  • A college or university level of work and thinking, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation.
  • Experience with funnel management, lead generation, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven optimization.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content strategies, and digital growth strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and marketing platforms.
  • Experience with AI tools and the application of AI within marketing processes.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and project-based work.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Experience in technology, software, energy, or another innovative B2B environment is a plus.
